Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure that treats varicose veins and spider veins. It involves injecting chemicals, known as sclerosing agents, into damaged veins. In addition to diminishing the appearance of varicose or spider veins, sclerotherapy can also reduce pain or side effects caused by damaged veins. Sclerotherapy treatment for venous problems can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. If you’re getting treatment on your legs, your doctor may have you lie on your back with your legs elevated.  Depending on how far below your skin the damaged vein is, your doctor may use an ultrasound as part of the procedure.

  • Treating verrucose veins

Mostly used In The Following Areas:

Laser (EVLT)

Also known as Endovenous Laser Therapy, EVLT is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat varicose veins. A probe is inserted into the affected vein, which then sends laser energy inside and along the length of the vein. This energy damages the the vein, shrinking it closed so that blood can no longer flow through it. Blood is then re-routed into other healthy veins in the leg. EVLT requires no downtime, but bandages and compression stockings may be worn for up to three weeks after treatment.

IDEAL FOR:

  • Varicose Veins

Fillers

Fillers are used to restore shape to the face, rejuvenate fine lines and contour the lips. There are different types and brands of dermal fillers that are used to restore and rejuvenate the face. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers use hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in all living organisms that hydrates skin by holding in water. It also acts as a cushion and lubricant to reduce damage to the skin. Hyaluronic acid is an important component of youthful, supple and elastic skin, and helps the skin maintain volume.

Ideal For:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Loss of volume and elasticity
  • Thin lips

BOTOX

Botox is a purified protein that is injected in minuscule amounts into the appropriate muscle, causing it to relax and temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines and crow’s feet. It is also used to treat hyperhydrosis or excessive sweating. After treatment, a patient treated with Botox can still frown and smile, but when they do, the expression wrinkles around the eyes and forehead are diminished. Correction with Botox is very natural and most patients feel that they have a more wide-eyed, refreshed, and more youthful appearance. Botox correction lasts an average of four months, however, after repeated injections, the results may last even longer.

Kybella

KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.” The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.

IDEAL FOR:

  • Removing the fat under the jaw
